How to Check ESIC Leave Payment Status

Step 1: Go to the ESIC employee login portal (if you get any error while opening this page then click on login again options showing on the screen).

Step 2: If you are using this portal for the first time then you have to sign up to set a password to log in. For that click on the signup option and enter your ESIC IP number and your mobile number. After signup only you can log in on this site.

Step 3: After signing up log in to the ESIC IP portal with your ESI number and password.

Step 4: Now on the home page you can find an option called “Status of the Claim” for under insured persons, click on it.

Step 5: Now enter the time period from which date to which date you want to check the payment status, enter the claim ID, and select the acknowledgment number. After entering all the required details click on submit.

Step 6: Now you can see the payment status of your claim on your screen.

ESI department is on its route to streamline and maintain accurate details of the employees on the First attempt.

The process of UPDATING any details like 

  • Dispensary, 
  • Personal Details. 
  • Nominee.
  • Family.
  • Bank.
  • Pan card/ Aadhar card/ Cancel Cheque( Full Name of the insured person is required  )  etc have become mandatory to attach the Proof. 

To avoid the hassle of documentation and adhering to the rules of ESI – 

All are requested to share the complete details of employees at the time of sharing for new ESIC Numbers ( Full Address with Pin code/ Aadhar Card for IP generation to avoid further delay in claiming the benefits).
The challenges we all would face in the process are: 

Any update will be processed as an email/ticket request to the official Department of Esic for approval. 

Documents that will be as proof :-

1. Pan card of the Insured Person/Aadhar Card of the Insured Person ( with Full Date of Birth) & Address this will be used for any DOB Changes/Address changes etc 

2. If any Family changes then all required details like age proof/residence proof( Aadhar Card) 

3. If any bank account changes then cancel the cheque(The name on the cheque is mandatory ) 

As per the recent circular issued by the ESIC on 22/12/2022 the time frame of approval is within 3days to be approved by all Regional offices & Sub Regional Office

Good news from West Bengal Labour Dept introduces Single Window Portal for investors to obtain Licenses/Registration/Approvals/NoCs online from a single point for setting up industries and operating businesses in the State. www.silpasathi.wb.gov.in

The State Government vide no. 419/MSME& T dated. 19.12.2022 has decided that all such services will be routed exclusively through the Silpasathi Portal instead of the Department’s standalone online systems.

The above-mentioned Thirteen (13) services will be provided exclusively through State Single Window Silpasathi Portal and all applications are to be submitted online through this portal only with effect from 1st January 2023 instead of
Department’s standalone systems.

For Registrations/Licenses/Approvals availed through Departmental Portal before 1st January 2023, the Renewal of such Registrations/licenses/Approvals will be issued from the Departmental Portal

Minimum wage of doctors set at Rs 40,000 in Karnataka; nurses at Rs 10,140

Minimum Wages in Ladakh have been increased effective from 02 November 2022 by the Ladakh Union Territory Government. K. Mehboob Ali Khan, IRS Secretary, Labour and Employment, UT Ladakh has issued the Notification dated 02 November 2022 vide Notification No. Secy / Lab&emp / UTL / min.wage / 5777-86 of increased Minimum Wages in Ladakh.

According to this official notification, Minimum Wages have been increased with effect from 02 November 2022. These minimum rates of wages will be applicable to all employees falling under 45 Scheduled Employments of Ladakh.

The Latest Minimum Wages in Ladakh with effect from 02 November 2022 will be as follows.

Definitions

  • “Unskilled Work” means work which involves simple operations requiring little or no skill or experience on the job.
  • “Skilled Work“ means work which involves skill or competence acquired through experience on the job or through training as an apprentice in a technical or vocational institute and the performance of which calls for initiative and judgement.
  • “Highly Skilled Work” means work which calls for a degree of perfection and full competence in the performance of certain tasks including clerical work acquired through intensive technical or professional (raining or practical work experience for certain reasonable period and also requires a worker to assume full responsibility for the judgement or decision involved in the execution of the tasks
