Thanks for a unprecedented and wonderful helping hand .Telephone calls are not answered. Emails are not responded. Visit in person to Epfo office is waste of time as they give irrelevant answer.

EPFO Rules regarding date of birth updation is rigid, unrealistic, unlawful, They are not ready my date of birth as per School leaving certificate, which was wrong in PPO and company records.

Iam Kuppuswami aged 58, pensioner by super annuation. My PPO no APHYD00144654
Govt. of India / EPFO cheated and loot my hard earned money in the name of EPS 95 by following manner.
A – They never going to repay my EPS corpus of Rs. 6,77,430 available with them at time of my super annuation at the age of 58 during my life time or to my family members after my death. Though they are not dis playing it in employee pass book, it can be worked out based of EPF claim settlement as follows.
My EPF claim was settled for Rs. 1087508 in march 2023 interest calculated upto feb 23.
Based on this my EPS accumulated fund as on date calculated as under.
EPS Corpus as at the end of Feb 23
    1087508 / 15.67 * 8.33 = 578107
Interest accrued from mar23 to feb 25 I.e.) for further 2 years as per the prevailing EPF interest rates approved.
    578107 * 1.0825 = 625801 ( as on mar 24)
    625801 * 1.0825 = 677430 ( as on mar 25)
B – They are not even paying the monthly interest earnings of my EPS 95 corpus as my monthly pension.
The interest on the accumulated EPS fund amount as per the prevailing EPF interest rate is
    677430 @ 8.25% pa = 55888.
    Interest per month is 55888 / 12 = 4657.
C – Even they didn’t sanction my pension as per the formula envisaged under sec 12(2) of EPS 95. The formula for member monthly pension = pensionable salary * Pensionable service. / 70 They have shown in my PPO and in worksheet my pensionable salary is Rs.12,875 and pensionable service as 24 years. According to the formula my pension should be 12875*24 / 70 = 4414. However they have sanctioned only Rs. 2530 as my pension and closed my grievances with closure remarks that my pension was calculated as per the formula envisaged under EPS 95. They don’t want to disclose the formula and the details of pension sanction calculation.
D – Even worsen they have paid my pension for the period 7.2.25 to 28.2.25 (22 days out of 28 days) Rs.1855 as calculated for 22 days out of 30 days on 2530.
I.e 2530 * 22 / 30 = Rs. 1855. It is not appropriate to restrict the pension payable only upto 28th of that month when you have assumed the monthly pension sanctioned is for 30 day’s. If at all they have common sense when they computed pension for 30 day’s with fictitious day of 29 & 30 on February the same should have been added in my pension for the period 7.2.25 to 28.2.25 also and taken the no of days as 24. Since iam eligible for pension from 7th feb onwards, My pension is not allowed only for 6 days from 1.2.25 to 6.2.25. If you take out those 6 days from the total of 30 monthly days they should have been calculated my pension for feb as 2530*24/30 = 2024. As against actual pension of 2530/28*22 = 1988. Are you going to adopt this 30 days month principle on jan, mar, may, july, aug, oct and dec and pay the pension in these months as 2530/30*31 = 2614. Certainly Not, since you have already paid me only 2530 for the month of mar’25.
E – They have purposely left the june 18 last month working partial monthly salary of rs. 7799, instead of that they considered only rs.6500 as full month salary for arriving 60 month average salary. It is ridiculous and highly idiotic to consider only rs.6500 in place of rs.7799. Is sec 11(1) of EPS 95 envisages and intends to consider only the smaller amount of full monthly salary than partial months bigger salary. Whether EPS 95 instructed to take only the smaller amount of full monthly salary than bigger amount of partial month salary or larger amount of full monthly salary than smaller amount of partial month salary to the beneficial of employee.
In general Govt. Of India betrays and looting private sector employees hard earned money as under.
    1. Compulsory enrollment in EPS 95 and took contributions @8.33% of basic pay without obtaining consent from employees.
    2. Hiding the EPS corpus available on employee passbook by not allocating interest at the end of each year similar to EPF. Not showing the op balance and transfers from other organizations the employee were worked with where in he contributed to EPS95.
    3. No provision is being made to return the entire corpus of EPS 95 similar to EPF at the time of retirement of an employee. Even at the time of death of an employee, the corpus available on EPS 95 will not be returned to the family of the employee but forfeited by govt of india.
    4. Not following the formula for pension as envisaged under sec 12(2) of EPS 95. For your kind information the formula envisaged under sec12(2) as per EPS 95. Monthly members pension = Pensionable salary X Pensionable service / 70 Determination of pensionable service was laid down under sec 10 of EPS 95 and Determination of pensionable salary was laid down under sec 11 of EPS 95.
    5. The pension as per the formula envisaged under sec 12(2)of EPS 95 is not even equals to the nominal interest of 8% on EPS corpus available on employees name on his super annuation.
    6. Even worst the PF dept is not following this formula for arriving members monthly pension. The pension sanctioned is hardly 57% of amount of pension amount arrived as per the formula envisaged under sec 12(2)
    7. Over and above when employee raised his grievance, without resolving it by giving the calculations , formula and the sections under which it was envisaged in EPS 95, closed the grievance high handedly by giving vague statement that the pension was calculated as per the formula envisaged under EPS 95
: Not providing pension formula as per the act adopted in sanctioning my Pension Rs 2530 and its calculation detail for more than 100 days. Looting of private sector employees hard earned money in the name of EPS 95.

My dad retired from his job 5 years back and yet has not received any pension yet. The employer keeps making excuses, Epfo office staff don’t help , this is all useless services. Only want to bleed the innocent people. Even I personally have been to the Kandivali (E) office travelling for 2 hrs one way just for receiving no help , it’s been happening for years , we can’t go anywhere for help everyone says they don’t know. Raised a Grievance once just received a call and they closed it. All this is non sense. Waste of time.
