

Minimum Wages in Ladakh have been increased effective from 02 November 2022 by the Ladakh Union Territory Government. K. Mehboob Ali Khan, IRS Secretary, Labour and Employment, UT Ladakh has issued the Notification dated 02 November 2022 vide Notification No. Secy / Lab&emp / UTL / min.wage / 5777-86 of increased Minimum Wages in Ladakh.
According to this official notification, Minimum Wages have been increased with effect from 02 November 2022. These minimum rates of wages will be applicable to all employees falling under 45 Scheduled Employments of Ladakh.
The Latest Minimum Wages in Ladakh with effect from 02 November 2022 will be as follows.

Note : The minimum wages in the tehsils of Zanskar, Durbuk and Nyoma (due to difficult living condition and geographical distance) shall be 10% additional to the notified minimum wages in respective categories.
The Government of Gujarat, vide Circular No. Sr.A.7(4)/ELC/2012/131, declared paid holiday for the eligible employees of shops and establishments, on the Account of the General Election of the Legislative Assembly in Gujarat on 1st December 2022 and 5th December 2022. The Government of Rajasthan, vide Notification no. 8/(1)EODB/I.R./Labour/2020/Part-1/28777, introduced a system of automatic sanction and generation of registration and license under the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 (CLRA). Please refer to the notification for more details

The minimum wage (Basic Pay) has been revised by 1.90 % by Haryana Labour Department on 14th of October 2022 and the effective date of the same is from 1st July 2022. So in this notification the DA has not been changed it remains the same as it was on 1st January 2022.


The minimum wage has been revised by the Punjab Government for the scheduled employment for the below-mentioned category, with effect from 1-Sep-2022.


After the new Govt announced 15% raise before the new minimum wages now again in the month of October 2022 as per schedule minimum wages have increased
